Fuel Filling Problems
Hey yall, I got a situation. When I go to fill up my truck, I put the nozzle in and squeeze, (like everyone everywhere does) it flows for about 2 seconds, then it shuts off like its full. Best part of the Engine??? Banks Power Pack Intake lid!!! Straight from the 90's! Has a Banks Exhaust on it to... but its got like 5 holes in it and moves in 3 different places cause its rotten. 7.3 idi in a 1970's ford truck any one does this?
I plan on doing this swap with my 77' F-350. the IDI will fit, if you plan on doing a turbo on it though, u either need a body lift or some work on the firewall to clear the downpipe. Custom motor mounts need to be made. The stock radiator from the 73'-79' can be used, as long as its the super...- Olb Blue Beast

Hey guys. I heard awhile back that the 87' model year of the 6.9l was better then pre 86' model. I cant exactly recall why, but it was something like it had the 7.3l gp something r other,stronger head studs? If anyone can help me out, thatd be great. well, you basically covered the pros and cons. A dually can handle more weight because the load is evenly disperced over 4 tires instead of 2. This will be my official thread for the rebuild of my truck. There are 2 plans which are being put into action. Plan 1 is to rebuild and refinish it. Cruise Control Question
I'm planning on swappin the 460/C6 in my 77' F-350 with a 6.9l/ZF-5. My trucks got factory Cruise control. If im not mistaken, the 6.9l cruise control is electronically controlled. Would i have to get rid of the cruise control? I think i would cause you cant have cruise control w/ a manual tranny.- Olb Blue Beast
