Header Wrap For Cross Over Pipe
I used the two inch wrap as per instructions and a fifty foot roll was more than enough to do the crossover, y-pipe and down pipe on my ATS 093 with 3 inch downpipe. My wrap specified to wet it, wrap it and let it dry prior to spraying it with the silicone. Only a couple hundred miles on it so...- jmac212

First off, thanks for the replies guys. I knew it would be a decent drive after seeing where most people lived when the Florida IDI potluck was put together, but no worries, I like road trips. I am inclined to drive the extra 20 minutes or so to Boca Raton due to the speed limit being lower...- jmac212

Do any of you Florida guys have a timing meter? I have finally gotten my truck back in service recently and would like to get it timed properly instead of by ear. I just left southeast power systems here in Ft. Myers and they told me that the Bosch dealer out of orlando has 100 on hand. I ordered just one to replace my one that is stuck open at a cost of 38.14. They ordered 24 for the shop and all 25 should be there tomorrow a.m. I only ordered one...- jmac212

Bad knocking sound, opinions wanted
I pulled the injector apart and it was surprisingly simple as far as number of moving parts and how they go together. Cleaned everything up as per icanfixall's instructions, made sure everything was good and dry inside, drop of fuel on the pintle and nozzle, re-installed. It is still stuck...- jmac212

I just pulled the injector and it is not burnt. It is definitely stuck open though as I am able to blow air through it with just my lung power. No luck finding that picture of an injector torn down yet, I will look again when I get back from picking up the kids from school. Thanks again.- jmac212

I finally got around to popping the hood on this thing and for giggles, I decided to try isolating injectors, as per Russ. Why not right? If that doesn't figure it out, then the big project ensues. No start problem, tackling injectors and pump on my own
I recently did the same job, which came out fine after one easily fixed mistake on my part. Take pictures of the pump, hard lines and return lines prior to disassembly. I am with itsacrazyasian, make a hard left and put the eye right over Naples. Mandatory, federally reimbursed overtime which would help defray the cost of the bottom end I have to tear into for my truck to get back on the road. Fram came with the truck and the receipt for the oil change. I know better than to use them, but this truck has less than 500 miles on it since I got it and I was hoping to get through one oil change with it. The video linked here is not to show the oil leaking around the filter manifold, but for the knocking sound heard while running. This sound was present along with another sound a while back. One of the sounds was my compressor wheel contacting the housing, which was remedied thanks to Typ4...- jmac212
