Dually Rear End ID?
you no thats kinda what mines doin to bc i dont hear it all the time but the pinion seal deff. needs to be changed but the whine isnt loud i just heared it the other day when i had the sliding back window open and thats when i noticed it- Copenhagen383

hey guys well theres some whining comin from the back of grumpy today that i guess i finally noticed but the guy i bought this truck from put a dually axle under her and the pinion seal is leakin.. Im pretty sure it a Dana 70 or 60 but not sure and theres not an ID tag. And how do i put up pics...- Copenhagen383

well guys i figured it out when i put my new steering wheel on i guess i over tightened it and it was cutting into the hazard flasher wires and i went for a second look but all is well now and no more blown fuses and all my lights work again thanks everyone for the help and making me feel like...- Copenhagen383

well the truck is still here and no fire i was scared about doing that but i no that none if my bulbs are out .. im glad i didnt have to call the fire department haha . but im sure theres a bare wire along the frame somewhere what do yall think??- Copenhagen383

yea i pulled the factory wheel and took all the cruise control stuff out and put a new pretty GT grant wheel in it. well i pulled the wheel just now and theres no bare wires showin or anything messed up so i guess im out of the clear on that .. i did put a piece of aluminum foil on a fuse to see...- Copenhagen383

well i took all of the trailor accesories (brake and plug) off bc i hardly ever pull a trailer so no need for it as far as im concerned. and cleaned up the mess by the plug in. And what do i look for when i get the wheel off? i didnt touch anything when i took it off just unplugged the cruise...- Copenhagen383

well i replaced the brake light switch and im gonna go see if i can clean up the wiring back by the trailer plug and try the bulbs.. all out of fuses :(- Copenhagen383

I thought that it was hot all the time just wasnt sure i DID have cruise but i took it out so i could put a Grant steering wheel on it . and I i had a trailer brake on it but i dont think it has trailer lights havent had the truck long maybe 2 months and this is the first thing to happen to it- Copenhagen383
