    I have yet to pull the heads off of this engine im trying to avoid major disassembly until im done with college and back on my feet.

    No play in the valve guide. Since this engine has hydraulic lifters is there a chance that i have an oil gallery thats plugged or restricted thats causing the lifter to expand too much?

    while i had the valve cover as out of the way as i could get it i had friend bar the engine over until i saw the intake valve close.
