    Anyone who filters/centrifuges should read

Thanks for the tip. If I ever get to using one of those fuges, I'll build it your way.

    Centrifuges

I understand that the g forces will be less, but I was referring to gearhead's post about the lower flow through resulting in more thorough cleaning. Your pabiodiesel fuge requires a high flow rate resulting in short duration of the oil in the fuge for the high g force to work on.

So it sounds as if the Acme Juicerator with a low flow rate may do as well as any of the more expensive options?

Well, since you found it necessary to quote me and laugh your A off, how about some constructive comment as well.

    Ready for baby!!

It's even better when they are grands - then you can nag at your son/daughter-in-law about them not knowing anything about raising children because you did such a crappy job that you now know the correct way... hah! But grands are great when you get them away from their parents. Then you can...

    Centrifuges

Thanks for all the replies guys. I opted for a solution not discussed here which is kind of a hybrid - I'm going to modify an Acme Juicerator since it apparently works once the proper modifications are made.

    Centrifuges

I've seen two types of centrifuges used here. The pabiodiesel (small) one and the uscentrifuge type. Has anyone done any testing to see which is more effective? Seems to me that the uscentrifuge, having a larger diameter, may wind up with more g-force than the pabiodiesel (small) one. I know...

    Anybody rebuild Bulldog gooseneck jack

I've been watching them and if it is the place in Stephenville then shipping is a flat $40 unless I go pick it up, and the place in Pennsylvania wants $60 shipping. Thanks for the heads up though.

    Anybody rebuild Bulldog gooseneck jack

Unfortunately I don't know the brand of jack. I did get in touch with the manufacturer of Bulldog jacks and got a thrust bearing but then I found there is at least one tooth missing from the top gear. Bulldog won't help me any further since their jacks aren't set up the same as mine is. Mine...

    Anybody rebuild Bulldog gooseneck jack

The jack on my gooseneck stock trailer quit working on me last night. The jack is of the Bulldog type - square tube, side crank, drop leg. Is in the middle of the trailer body. I opened the cap on it tonight and all I can see is the two gears that mesh. I was told it was probably the...

    Maintaince items

Oil change every 3 months? Can someone please explain to me why the need to change oil every 3 months when the vehicle hasn't been run very many miles? It isn't like the dealerships change the oil on the cars on there lots every 3 months if they haven't been sold in that time period. I mean -...
