    If you use the drop in water heat element , use a 220 v elvement on connect to 120v . Insulate the barrel . Let temp rise to 150 ish then turn off the element and let it sit overnight . Pump off the top 80%.

    Just to add one more thing here - Another thing to check is the outlet at the top of the IP. Remove the brass fitting and then remover the steel fitting . If the screen in the steel fitting is clogged then the IP won't deliver fuel .

    No luck at the local IH dealer. The local diesel injection pump shop will give me no core credit ( wants $400 core fee) . I could buy a Borg Warner reman at a local chain auto parts store for about $575 or so (I think that they will take my core ) but might be chancing getting crappy...
