    Trailer Brake Controller-Jordan Ultima 2020

This was a favorite among RV'ers when it was still available, its truly proportional since it connects to the brake pedal and senses the actual movement rather than using inertia switches or accelerometers, and doesn't require modifications to the vehicles brake system like other...

Fuel Supply Tube Part Number Help

OK, here is how it turned out, didn't feel like running out so I used what I had in stock, seems to be working fine-these are low pressure lines so its really no big deal. Here are the flares, the bottom is a double, but the top is a single with a rubber washer/gasket, I've not seen this style...

Fuel Supply Tube Part Number Help

Guys, I am replacing the leaking fuel/lift pump on my '92 IDI, the steel tube that runs from the pump up to the filter/separator twisted near the pump, I guess the tube was rusted/corroded in the nut. Anyway, I cant find the part number for this tube, any help for a part number or quick solution?

    Fuel leak at filter

Are you SURE its not leaking out of the top? I just went through this 2 months ago-thought for sure it was the filter and even bought a style simular to the Baldwin above. Turns out it was the heater o-ring leaking on mine, luckily I found a match for it in my plumbing parts box. Read this...

    Glow plug testing

That's the best way IMHO, one lead to ground and the other to the tip of the plug after you pull the wire off. A near zero reading (if digital) or a full scale deflection (if analog) on the meter indicates a good plug.

    92 7.3 idi???

See if it has regular V-belts or a serpentine belt, that will help identify whether is a early or later '92. $200 sounds like a deal if you want to bother parting it out.

Where to buy insulating glow plug boot

The hole would need to be large enough to fit over the metal sleeve, then it would not seal out moisture very well IMHO.

Where to buy insulating glow plug boot

I just used the double-wall heat shrink on mine, I see no reason to change it. I will be happy to get it for anybody that needs it since I buy it locally at Baynseville Electronics.

    Cold idle advance

I hooked up my CIA about 3 years ago with the diode setup, and I adjusted the soleniod plunger so I get about 1000 to 1100 rpms in the fast idle mode. It works extremely well and sure is cheap to wire up. I use mine alot in the summer also to keep the A/C cooling better when I make a quick stop.

Alright!! The GP controller has got to go!

There is still "juice" going TO the relay, but it can't go THROUGH the relay if there is no GROUND. The white wire removed is the GROUND from the controller to the coil side of the relay. I have been happy with mine for 2+ years...and with my AutoMeter Volt gauge, I can assure you I could...

Alright!! The GP controller has got to go!

AAK, The "heating element thing" is a actually a resistor. It is part of the GPC, and is what the GPC uses to "sence" how cold it is and for how long to operate the GP's. The white ground wire that was removed from the relay is what energizes the relay thus operating the GP's. That original...

Alright!! The GP controller has got to go!

Great news :D I had thought that was the trouble, but I wasn't positive how the WTS light circuit worked. Looks like you got it nailed though! So, I don you the new manual glow plug guru :hail

Alright!! The GP controller has got to go!

I do not think you really have power to the plugs, You only moved ONE wire for the WTS light correct? I am not sure how the WTS circuit is originally hooked up, but I think you will have to find the other side if the circuit. It takes two wires to light a bulb, what is the other side of the...

Alright!! The GP controller has got to go!

Yes, you can rewire the WTS light to work. But Why? You will have to cut wires out of the factory harness, and it will only light while you have the switch pushed. And I think you'll know that if your pushing the switch, you should "wait to start" anyway....Do you need a light to tell you this...
