what is "normal" valve tap?
7.3L n/a e350 doghouse off the motor. new bb injectors and return lines. hearing a loud valve tap at highway speeds. still there at idle and low rpm's but not as loud. coming from passenger side. put auto-rx in the oil but no significant change. i know these are hydraulic lifters...- dieseldumb

what kind of motor might be installed in this?
anyone have an idea what kind of diesel motor might be installed in a Chevy 1983-1987 (?) former ambulance? any way to double check? also, what kind of transmission? 2wd, less than 10,000 GWV, automatic thanks.- dieseldumb

Electrical question - horn - Power Dist. Box
