    I think I would have started out with an standard cab or extended cab for that truck instead of a full crew cab.That is a long way to crawl to get to the sleeper.

    On the 2 tons you gotta turn the valve in the floor and hit the switch on the dash.The military setup is way overkill.They have both the selector valve so you can run on either tanks plus a transfer pump so you can run off one tank and transfer the fuel over if you want to.

    Fuel selector valve is shot.Not closing all the way common problem.You got lucky it stuck on the feed valve instead of the return line valve.When the return fails to close it fills the other tank and spits out the filler neck.
