Changed the NP435 gear oil and inspected the gears after driving a year on my rebuild, changed leaking 12AN remote oil filter hoses, ran some type F ATF through pump because of sticking metering valve, Changed the main fuel filer and looking for new tires..
Well still going strong. I do have a return line leak that I have to tend to.
The engine is also getting to the point where it uses no oil between changes.

Still going strong.
I just replaced the in-tank fuel pump and cleaned out some dirt around the pick-up. I think I may have been starving for fuel quite often from the looks of it.
I have the exact opposite problem. Mine is engaged in the morning for a few miles before it disengages and engages too much while driving around town. Mine is a Motorcraft as well.
Just an update. I installed some 20x12 wheels and 35 inch tires, which is a decent combo with the NP435 transmission with no overdrive. My freeway RPM at 65 is now 2400..
Might wanna rethink the larger up pipes. Hypermax designed it to keep the boost low enough at high rpm with the smaller pipes. Large pipes would likely overboost a stock 6.9 and the smaller ones provide good boost off the line. This is a reasonwhy they call it a pulse turbo
I installed some 20x12 4play Revolver wheels and 35 inch tires, did a 4 inch lift with a lowered track arm bracket and springs and getting ready to install 4 new shocks.
Yeah maybe , however my other vehicle's fans mostly just freewheel on the freeway. The truck's fan sounds like a jet taking off on the freeway and you can really feel the power loss.
I'm going to install that new Motorcraft that is supposed to arrive Thursday and my other 3 row aluminum...
If it isn't leaking anywhere and you can hear it first thing in the morning after an overnight cool down, It should be working.. You should hear it after starting it first thing and it should taper off right away..
