thanks mel, but i have the complete idi turbo engine in the garage. the engine has the ford manifolds on it complete with the crossover and riser to the turbo. the problem is where the pas. side manifold meets the crossover then rises to the turbo. right where the manifold exits looks like where...- Nautiques-only

I'm not sure. I changed the other engine out. The replacement didn't knock for about 100 miles. it seems like its not as loud when the truck is cold. I put in eight rebuilt injectors, no luck. its really loud down low, maybe on the pas. side. kinda like a dunk, dunk, dunk, dunk, dunk sound. No...- Nautiques-only

it's a 1986 international 1654. i put a 98 nose on it though. it has a 6.9 in it but i just bought the 1994 7.3 turbo, thats on the floor right now just waiting. the reason i'm swapping is the 6.9 has a loud knocking.....just like the old 6.9 i took out last year!-cuss-cuss-cuss-cuss:rotflmao:dunno- Nautiques-only

need help with an idi I have an international ramp truck that i want to put my idi turbo in. the only problem i see is that the exhaust is gonna hit the motor mount on the pas. side. anyone ever upgrade their truck from 7.3 non turbo to this engine?:dunno- Nautiques-only
