Props to Wes for the parts at good price yesterday. Plus the knowledge that he also provided to me while we were there getting the Fenders. Was great to put a face with the person on the other side of the the keyboard finally.
ok guys I got a line on a transmission but it’s out of a 95 I believe.
Question 1 will it work without modification?
Q2 Do I have to change out my computer from my 90

So as the saga continues....
I went to reassemble my oil cooler this past weekend and noticed on the cap that the end of the housing has a crack in it right on the very edge where the tube goes in. Its on the back side of engine.
Is this something I need to worry about?
If I need to replace it...
I have looked at countless threads on this and on my truck there was only 2 orings not 4. Was there some years that only used 2?
Everything I have read says 4 so you can understand my perplexity on this.

Does anyone know what years are plug n play for this trans? I finally found one that from a 93 7.3 4x4 and want to make sure it will fit before shelling out more cash.
Also what years will work for a 90 7.3 4x4?
Does anybody know where to get the connector for the glow plug harness to main harness on the right side of the engine? Mine is burnt up and needs replacing.
Or can i just eliminate the connector and splice them together?
well y’all yesterday started the process of body swapping. Removed cab and bed from chassis finally. New cab will be picking up next week and getting it stripped down for cleaning and prepping for sound deadening.
I’ll post some pics later to show progress.

Well I haven't even started replacing any parts on the engine yet as they are coming in from all the ordering I've been doing. I found rust under the truck on the floor pans and side rockers. Just what i needed. I found another can and hopefully will be able to pick it up next weekend.

What i do not know is using rubber or cork better for IDI on valve covers? I also will assume its going to need injectors as well...
