Misfiring
About 7000 miles after replacing the IP and all the injectors I'm starting to notice problems again :l the 3rd cylinder back on the driver side seems to be misfiring and there's a "thunk"ing noise coming out the exhaust. Batteries keep dying
Having problems with the 89 350 again :l but not giving up on it yet. I noticed the starting on it kept getting progressively weaker and weaker due to low batteries. Finally it got to the point where I would have to leave it on a trickle charger overnight to be guranteed a start in the morning...- wabashofutah

Still learning automotive... did a dumbass move and tried to fill the r12 system on my IDI with 134a :idiot: needless to say all the r12 came out (cable to compressor was loose so I assumed the system needed a recharge). glow plug or relay diagnostics?
The F350 is still a little dog to cold start unless i've left it hooked up to the block heater all night. I'm assuming the glow plugs are bad but I realize it could also be a bad relay or controller. 6.9 IDI lots of white smoke
My 6.9 IDI is having hard starts (hot or cold) where you crank it forever before it'll start, once it's running it runs great but is smoking alot of white smoke, I replaced all the fuel injectors and return lines and it doesn't smoke as bad and gained a little power but it still covers the half...- wabashofutah
