Timing meter in Florida
Do any of you Florida guys have a timing meter? I have finally gotten my truck back in service recently and would like to get it timed properly instead of by ear. who needs new BB codes?
I just left southeast power systems here in Ft. Myers and they told me that the Bosch dealer out of orlando has 100 on hand. I ordered just one to replace my one that is stuck open at a cost of 38.14. They ordered 24 for the shop and all 25 should be there tomorrow a.m. I only ordered one...- jmac212

Bad knocking sound, opinions wanted
The video linked here is not to show the oil leaking around the filter manifold, but for the knocking sound heard while running. This sound was present along with another sound a while back. One of the sounds was my compressor wheel contacting the housing, which was remedied thanks to Typ4...- jmac212

Start up after ip replacement
Putting the finishing touches on a Baby Moose install along with a host of other work and the truck won't stay running. Fuel injection service sticky
In regards to the section on removing the injection pump from the timing gear, the article states that a 16 point socket or open end wrench should be used. Is this a special socket/wrench? I have 12 point and 6 point stuff, but I have never heard of the 16. Couldn't find it on the interweb...- jmac212
