injector rebuilds
I have a pile of injectors at home, i was just playing around with them the other day, tried to put this spring in that injector, and the dam thing wouldn't pop at all it would build to 4000 psi and no hint of popping. 94 idit motor compression test
just performed a compression test on a 94 idit that i pulled out couple of weeks ago, and i got 200 psi roughly across the board + or - 10 psi, tried it wet and got about 20 more on each cylinder. is that acceptable? the motor started withing 1/2 a turn and that was sitting all winter, smoked...- paulzx

weird vavle train noise?
here's a problem for the IDI Guru's.... just transplanted a used 7.3 engine into my truck in the summer... i've notice that once I ran the engine a bit, it would make a HUFF HUFF HUFF from the intake while trying to start the truck... 88-94 glow plug controller
just install a newer style glow plug controller on my 86 and not sure how it's supposed to operate properly, but the on time when the key is turned on is about 15 secs solid then it turns off, then it clicks on and off for another 15 seconds. is it supposed to cycle on and off for that long...- paulzx

PH level for coolant
what should the PH level of coolant before I should start adding DCA? I have about 7.2 to 7.5 PH right now, but the test strip doesn't say if that is acceptable or not?- paulzx
