Looking for a good running donor truck for a swap I plan to do soon.

Want the stronger 6.9 block.

No 7.3's as cavitation is a big worry of mine.

Must be in Texas or close to the state.

$2000 is my limit on this one.

Ran alright many years ago but it was parked at our place and really just not used. It was a ranch truck for most of its life so there probably isn't a panel without a dent but its all there. 400M used a big block bellhousing so the C6 willl bolt to any IDI you through in it. I also have an factory turbo 7.3 in the shop that ran when I pulled it but was going to rebuild it and throw it in our '63 power wagon but don't have time so I'd be willing to make you a deal on that. I got a lot of parts and trucks but just not enough time and money to get all the projects done, would rather see them go to use for someone else. I'll pm some pics if I can find some, otherwise I'll take some pics next time I'm out there.

I have an 85 250 w 6.9 and T19 that I want to sell. Problems are location (CA) and price. I did a bunch of stuff to it, hoping to get more than 2k.

The time is fast approaching to just hook up the trailer and hit the road! I know my options will open up a great deal I make the decision to leave Texas.

This truck is going to be used as a donor for motor, transmission, frame, extra parts and reference for a big swap I'm going to be undertaking soon.

There probably wont be much left other than the body itself when I'm finished.

Wouldn't want to cut up an old beaut! :smoke:

Although we don't have any problems with rust here in Texas, it seems like there are very few IDIs here compared to other places I've been and most the old trucks around here have just been beat, its getting tougher to find these trucks anymore...

I have noticed this trend as well, most of these IDI's are up North and that salt is brutal!

I have a 97 K1500 that spent most of it's life in Illinois and Indiana. Only has 87000 original miles but the rust took it's toll fast! Had to replace gas tank, fuel pump, all brake and fuel lines...

The farmers/ranchers down here are crazy rough on these trucks! I really paid attention since getting my own. And if it's a bullnose or bricknose, it's a gasser. It's the early powerstrokes on up that are really popular. What's ridiculous about those is what people are asking for them and what they are really worth, given their condition.
