High idle question

So I don't know what to do with it I have moved the time all over the place it still sounds louder then ****. I can't figure it out I don't have time to keep have it not running.

Well, diesels are going to be loud. You aren't looking for loud, you are looking for a top end clatter.

Also, when you are as retarded as I think you are, you have to move the pump a /lot/ to get it to be noticeably better.
Try loosening all 8 lines on the IP, then loosening the IP and rotating it /all the way/ over towards the passenger side.
It'll be at like a 10-15 deg angle, and look really weird. Then, re-tighten the lines and see how she runs.

I wish I could give you a video of different timing sounds, but I can't right now.

Your proper timing falls within about a 1/16 of an inch. Making large adjustments can cause loudness do to preignition knock.

When I rotated it to the passenger side it seemed to smoke less when you rev it up and the clatter sound was really even notice able if you brought the rpm up to 1000 but then the clatter came back.
