We bought Jetskis and towing them with our 2 door Jeep Wrangler wasn't fun so we started the search a cheap truck and found a 1994 F350 crew cab long bed dually turbo IDI with 128k on it. It's 4x4 which is nice too. We're out here in Arizona so the truck has practically no rust at all. It's got a gear vendors overdrive installed (which the reverse ended up going out on us in it month or so after we bought it and had to get it rebuilt for 2200 dollars) Right before that we had put about 800 bucks into it replacing misc worn front end components. Basically we're into now just shy of 9 grand total with buying it and fixing those things. I actually decided to register to this site because I had some questions regarding coolant & additives. Anyway I'll post up some pictures of the truck, It's in pretty good shape interior/exterior could use some paint in the near future. Everything works power windows/doors/ac ect. It does have a pyrometer (i think that's what it's called) installed but it seems to not be working. Anyway this is starting to sound like a for sale ad to me so I'll just leave it at that :joker:

Oh yah the previous owner mushed the tailgate with his 5th wheel accidentally lol

Very nice clean dually conversion, make sure you retorque the dually extensions on the rear unless they did a real dually rear swap. people forget about those adapters, just as important as the wheel torque.

red interior would make it perfect ;Sweet , not many share that opinion :dunno

Thanks for the replies, learned something already. So this is a dually conversion? I did not know this. I know it has air bags in the back. How can you tell it is converted? From the papers? FYI there is only 2 things I don't like about the truck is the fact that it is a dually and the chrome running boards. Would it be relatively easy to convert back? Is it more desirable with dual rear wheels and the chrome sidesteps? Currently we only tow a 2 up jet ski trailer. More often just a couple dirtbikes or a quad in the bed. With the possibility of a cab over camper in the future or tow behind camper. Would I be smarter to just keep the dually set up? Also how do I know if it has bolted on dually conversion hubs?

thanks again. As far as interior red would be too much for me lol. It's grey I updated the pics to include the interior

Why does the lastpicture say 5.8l? Nice truck!
Thank you

I believe that is the standard offering, then on the right side it has the added options listing the 7.3 Both pictures are of the same paper just left and right side. Otherwise I had to hold my phone too far back to fit it in and then I couldn't read it

Yes do check the coolant SCA. You can get the additive at any parts store. Or buy it from ford they are not to bad price on that.

welcome to OBN.she's a beauty.
So this is a dually conversion? How can you tell it is converted? From the papers?

because ford didn't offer a 4wd dually with a pickup bed.if you wanted a dually,4x4.you would of had to bought a cab and chassis truck,of which a pickup bed can't be mated too and look proper like a pickup (without extensive modification of course).

Is it more desirable with dual rear wheels and the chrome sidesteps?

it is to me.:D
many people prefer the stripped down/murdered out look today.so chrome has been a cast out for over a decade and half or so.shoot, the trend is likely going on past 2 decades now, surprisingly.chrome will have a come back.it's just too cool.
in or not,it didn't stop me from decking out chip truck in chrome/stainless.she gets looks and complements all the time even though she's not dressed down.

Would I be smarter to just keep the dually set up? Also how do I know if it has bolted on dually conversion hubs?

oh yes.that's what makes your truck so much more valuable.in that it's a dually 4wd setup.you have no idea how much more capable of a truck it is now.
get under the truck and snap us some shots.focus on the leaf spring to behind the wheel area.9 times out of 10 you'll see rear adapters as to a true dually rear on conversions.

Arrowcraft makes a conversion kit. Wheel adapters look like this.

Rear is like a 2.5" spacer (left side of pic) Front could either be a factory D60 dually hub or a spacer like the ones on the right side above. Dually axle is wider backing plate to backing plate so it requires the spacer to get you clearance for the inner dual wrt the spring.

A lot of guys seem to like the dually and running boards, I'm not a fan of anything that makes a truck like this harder to maneuver.
It's easy to strip the outer wheels off but the bed might have a nasty hole pattern if you pull the flares off. If you were really lucky you might find a bed the same color at a wrecker (while you look for a tailgate), then you could go back to a fleetside look gracefully.
