Pry 25% gas going through, had the same thought. Stuff is like tar once it has sat for a while. Getting a thorough cleaning is all it needs.

Go big or go home! Lol. Wonder how much heat you could throw at the fuel before startinf a fire...
Actually..... that thing probably doesn't put off as much heat as you think.
That one is made to be run off 12v. And it's only 300 watt.
For comparison, most block heaters are up around 1000 watt.

Ive read the description, i see no problem.
I know what 300 watts looks like, regardless of the input voltage. 12 volts is actually ideal, thats what my pickup has for batteries.
Its still heating fuel. I still respect it. The previous one was 25 watts. I felt like another 275 was a respectable jump.
Im trying to picture what 300 watts can do to the volume of fuel running through while the pickup is at idle. A thermostat may be needed to avoid getting the fuel too hot. Gas has a flash point of 495*. I wonder how hot the fuel will get right next to the heating element vs the temperature sensor for the thermostat on the heater.
Thanks for the concern.

240D wasn't bad overall but needed four tires, battery, windows didn't go down, glow plugs didn't work and dash lights didn't work. Jeep needs a lot done before wheel season starts so I passed, wanted something I could put plates on and go. Will look again in the spring, wouldn't surprise me if he still had it.

Ordered some parts today and should be on the road next week.

Need to get the fuge up and running again, needs a good cleaning and resealing of all the plumbing. Thinking 20-30% blend, possibly with a combo electric heater / heat exchanger setup for now. Will look to replicate Acid's two tank setup once diesel prices go back up.

Got everything taken apart on the fuge and soaking in simple green. Veg really had everything gunked up.

Scored a 12gal boat tank for $40 that will go in the trunk. That will be the homemade fuel tank. 1/2" rubber hose to the valve below. Looped return and no heat exchanger unless it proves to need one. Trying to KISS as much as absolutely possible, like how the rest of the car is built.

Have about 800 miles on it so far commuting. 30mpg on the last tank. Fun and comfy to drive. Can't wait to get back into processing. Should need about 45-50gal of W90 a month to support my commute, not sure how much I will run beyond that. Trying to keep amount on hand <150gal and processing system small.

Fuge is all cleaned up and I'm having trouble getting more than 50psi out of it. Tried everything I can think of. Looking to replace the bowl or the whole fuge assembly. From there, rebuild or replace the pump. Bah!
