Why would my truck stall then run then stall?

I think they are saying the pieces have been sucked up blocking the line probably at the selector valve more than the pump is sucking air from the tank (the classic 1/4 tank problem).

That would make sense, however I am going to stick by my contrarian diagnosis. I've never been wrong before, so odds are this may be my first time.:joker:

If it were me I would just drop the tank see whats going on in there. Bypass the fsv and just get a carter electric fuel pump and get rid of the mechanical one. Install bigblk chevy fuel pump block off plate and be done. You now have a super simple reliable system. I did mine for a little under $200 for the electric pump and plumbing. You wont regret going to an electric pump. The truck was my dd at the time and I needed reliability. Just my 2c
