If you do go to buy a new one, look into the HVHF one.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it yet or not but I have developed a fuel leak at the lift but I don't think it's really related to much because it ran like this before

The swamps one is the one. Lol
Have a truck you can swap the pcm with?
Here's how you can test the harness.

Yes an no lol im not real sure if the pcm is good in my other truck cause it only runs on 5 cylinders. That's what I got this idm out of but I don't think that's the cause of it. But on another note on 5 cylinders and 450k miles it's still pull a hell of a load lol.ill see if I can take one off a buddys truck he's gotta bunch lol
And is that to test just the valve cover gaskets

Alright I'll read though it real good. I hope it ain't the valve cover harnesses but they are dormans but even after I changed them it ran the same

Had a random thought that I wanted to ask about before I pull my bed off to do this but could the pick up screens In the tanks be clogged causeing my low power loss. Or could a plugged ebps and tube cause it. Pretty much I'm tryin to find every thing to check cause imma take it to the shop and tear it down and want to know wether to check that stuff or not when I check the wiring

I guess it could, but that won't cause the Injector codes. Lol
EBP tube and sensor shouldn't either. That could cause a loss in mileage though.

gut the EBPV - serves no purpose what so ever. First mod I did on both my trucks.

Did you check the big harness going over the drivers side valve cover for chaffed wiring?

Been Workin on the Idi here latley so I haven't tounched the ol pstroke but there's been somethin concerning me about it. I put new oil cooler o rings on earlier in the year and now I go through like a gallon of coolant every 100 miles or so. When I did it my dumba** left the oil filter outside and it rained. Well it didn't feel like there was any water in it so I put it back on. Well I developed a white sludge immediately and changed the oil twice that day and couldn't get rid of it. Well if I leave my oil fill cap off and left it run it clears up but comes back after it sits. It's all in my valve covers and stuff. I haven't noticed gaining any oil though that's what I can't figure out once I fixed the oil leaks. I don't think I've added oil in a month it hasn't moved at all.i am gonna change the oil cooler o rings agian here soon it's parked till I can get it fixed.the oil don't smell like diesel nor coolant and there's no oil mixing in the coolant from what I can tell
