welp, im gluten for punishment.so, i started another one.
it all started 12 yrs ago, when i put my 42 pontiac coupe on a 91 caprice chassis.
well the b body was too wide, and it needed to get something done, so it sat for 10 years.

been cleaning up the yard and i noticed a stack of parts that could be made into a viable vehicle.

so, my OCD got me goin on this thing.
i havnt spent a dime on it yet, but ive been rap1ng parts from my collection to get some progress done.

plans are to get it running with the bare minimum as i can,
i need it to be moving on its own!
ive got a turbo block and a 2 wd C6

i found a 66 elcamino front end, and pieced it in.
worked perfectly!
now i really hated the looks of the firewall, so like i do..
i went to town.
borrowed a bead roller and started rollin...
i currently have most of the panels done,
waiting for trans cross member mounts to come in tomorrow, and i can pull the engine/trans and finish up the welding.

enjoy!

I just got a Pontiac myself......it's a 91 GTA and will not be getting an IDI swap. Either way, when you drive a Pontiac, you ARE "driving excitement". There's an old Pontiac commercial from the late 80's that's really a music video almost 3min long "ride Pontiac ride", it'll get you way more crunk than Alan Jackson carooning about a Ford truck, though not near as chill as Steve Miller sweetly dreaming of Mercurys. You could do a really dynamic video of your build with it. That being said.....get on your Pontiac and ride Pontiac ride!

Then by all means....GET ON YOUR PONTIAC AND RIDE!!!

personally, I can't fit into the firebird (KITT), I'm not fat, just tall and not flexible. The car is totally for my wife.

Like watching you do your projects, wish I was around someone when I was a kid to inspire me at the time.

Looks like the neighbor hood going down the tube, with the Stack and Pack`s across the street from you. Crime will be going up, and they will be pushing you out.
You are making the hood look bad.
