HPOP LINES
I have a question , i am replacing my HPOP lines with new connections that have threads that connect to the new lines. can i leave the spring in the pump or should i remove the spring?? and if so what is the advantage of leaving them out. I am just doing maintenance and not looking for more...- uloadit

When the truck dies again check the relays in the fuse block. They get hot and maybe the one that controls the ecm or the injector module gets so hot it shuts off- uloadit

float don't do this stranges reading. it would not be a float , floats dont go bad the fuel rheostat sends the signal and that would give a bad fuel level. I did think it was a bad rheostat . but as time went on when i filled up with fuel it went up but took a very long time to go to full. I...- uloadit

well after digen in , i found something very interesting . some fords have this module in the back of the speedo cluster that is called a slosh module ford (( ))) do the super dutys have these ? the problem i am having is when the tank is full and reads correct as it slowly goes down to empty...- uloadit

FUEL SENDING UNIT( RHEOSTAT ) REPLACEMENT
my fuel gage gets stuck on half a tank after refueling. i disconnect the batteries and then reconnect and it will go to full. some times it will go to empty then back up to full. the cost of a new sending unit goes between $600 and ford wants $800 , that is just not right.
