I am pretty sure it is making a lot more power... hp=rpm*torque/5252. If the rpms go way up and the torque just doesn't drop like a brick (which I doubt it did bc it keeps pulling the sled) you are physically going to make more hp. I just don't get how it can suck that much oil and make that much more power than the duramaxs in the vid. I would venture those duramaxs were 500+ hp and he put some pretty good distance on them. Granted there is more to pulling than just hp, but when he can barely even get it to pull the sled...- turboman1

Not sure if this has been posted here before, but how in the world can a N/A idi (i assume it is from the dual exhaust) make that much more power from running on its own oil (That is compared to the duramax it pulled against)? I always thought you start to "huff" out the flame when you get...- turboman1

Injector Thread Size
So you are saying the thread is 12mm x 1.5mm? Hmmm i thought it would probably be English Units. That pop tester you got to use is pretty sweet too. Thanks Adam- turboman1

C6 3-->2 downshift mph?
Truck doesn't downshift from 3-->2 until I get to about 15 mph (which is about where it shifts from 1-->2 on up shifts). Tranny started doing this after it was rebuilt, but before it did it at about 25 mph. Is this a valvebody adjustment that can be done, or is that the normal downshift speed...- turboman1

Fixed it...pump actually turned back a little from where I originally set it. Also passed emissions :D Thanks for all the help, much appreciated! Adam- turboman1

I replaced the IP...never removed the IP gear cover housing so I don't think its the gear teeth being misaligned. I do not have a meter, but I already moved it about a dimes width (thin dimension) towards the passenger side past the timing mark on the gear cover housing...that is about where the...- turboman1

Got my truck put back together....new fuel lines, cleaned both tanks, new IP, and cleaned all the injectors. Truck is the 89 in my sig. I actually had to pull the entire fuel system bc the fuel gelled in it and ruined the injection pump...stuck in all the lines and tanks too. Cleaned the tanks, injectors, fuel tank selector valve, and installed all new lines from tank to lift pump (installed new IP too). The IP supply lines were...- turboman1

Fuel return line siphoning fuel?
Is it possible if there is a pin hole somewhere in the supply line (post fuel pump) for the return line to siphon the fuel out of the fuel filter (since there is about a 2 foot drop back to the tank) via the line that runs directly into the return system. Fuel Line Sizing?
What is the hose size for both the suction and return fuel lines? Had to clean the entire fuel system because of gelled fuel and going to put some new fuel lines back in instead of the factor ones. Thanks Adam- turboman1

89' No Fuel To Injectors
Picture of Pump Internals Well...pulled the truck in 3rd gear at about 40 mph for at least 2 miles...and nothing. Just a very very small hint of white smoke. Pulled the top cover on the pump and looked at it a little closer... Notice all the material around the sprung linkage. Tried...- turboman1
