    My egts are high when I get into a good pull with my 92 7.3 turbo idi. I figured 4in exaust would take care of the problem, but no one sells it for a idi that I can find. My qusetion is can I use 4in exaust for like a 95 powerstroke same body style, or is there a reason its not offered for the idi

    I never noticed the fan go off, but I do know that when the engine is shut off you can hear the fan "free spin" which made me think it was going bad. As for the topper, I thought it would help not hinder my MPG:dunno and yes it is a high rise

    Stock trans for a 92, I think 4eod or what ever auto. 3.73 gears. Dosent smoke to bad, just when I get on it and just for a quick bit.

    I would have to say I am missunderstanding you. When I got the truck it had 4.56s in it, at 65 I was running 3000 rpms. Let alone bad for motor, you dont want to see the milage on that. Truck has a turbo and fuel is turned up/timming advanced. All these things I thought would help my milage...

    I have a crew cab dully with 3.73 gears, and have yet to break 14mpg unloaded runing ~1900 rpm, I must be doing it wrong LOL. And yes they are 3.73s I put them in.
