    Captains chairs in bricknose

I don't know how all that worked. Maybe, maybe not, depends on Ford really.

    Slow turning belt

Let me write out what I think you are saying, and I will also separate the complaints by paragraph to, and also throw some sentences in there while I am at it. What you mean to say... Looks like my pulleys are turning slowly. I don't know if one of them is having problems turning. It seems to...

I Forgot to Mark the IP gear

I pulled my heads. It wasn't like I just wanted to mess with my pump. I will just tear it down the rest of the way. It will make me want a cam, but I don't want to spend the extra money on new valve springs and a new cam. It would probably be worth it. I may just push my time table a little...

I Forgot to Mark the IP gear

So it just dawned on me I did not mark the IP gear when I pulled the pump/housing/gear off of my motor. My heads are off, but I don't want to take apart the front gear cover as I do not want to spend the extra time and money getting into that. Plus if I go that far, I feel I should toss an...

    Slow turning belt

So you are talking about four complaints here. You think your belt runs 'to slow', whatever that means. Your GP light will come on and off when the truck is warm, when driving down the road? Your truck will sometimes hard start in the morning. Your hear an unidentified squeaking noise from the...

    Captains chairs in bricknose

Ford had a lot of different things. I found an 85 EC with captain's and a center console. Not all one piece though. It was a 'Ranger' trim truck. I doubt there is any one place that even references all the different options and choices. On top of all the OEM Ford choices, there is also the coach...

    IDI Parts

why are they so rare in a non salt state? Are all the trucks on the road and being driven around?

Adjusting Fuel Screw on DB2 pumps with pics

where this fuel limit screw that you are calling 'torque screw' located? I feel like the fuel limiting screw may be the saving grace on the pumps if you do turn them up a lot, to keep them from melting down.

    Leaking return lines

I have never had much issue with my multiple IDI's. They have all had leaky fuel systems to. As long as I had good glow plugs, or the right amount of go juice, they come to life in almost any temperature and 9 times out of 10 don't have too much rough starts. Even if your lift pump was letting...

Adjusting Fuel Screw on DB2 pumps with pics

does the fuel screw stop when it has reached maximum fuel, or minimum fuel? Or is it up to the 'adjustee' to count the turns and know where max/min is?

    Leaking return lines

I am still skeptical about the kit though, they do not have any pictures of it installed on a motor. I will have to look and see if the compound turbo motor has them on it.

    Leaking return lines
