gonna do it (getta turbo)
Need some advice,,,am gonna get a turbo for the ole beast,,,it is 91 f250extended cab 5 spd with a flatbed,,,strait pipe out the rear ,,,186000 miles on it,,,gooseneck hookup,,,,will haul a hell of a lot of hay ,,,runs d$%#~!~$#mn good,,,jus want some more outa it,,,,can someone out there give...- soupdog

thanks,,,,so another question,,,if i have another brand in my truck which is pushn 186000 do i have to change coolant to put in sca's as they arent compatible with the others?????- soupdog

kind of a bad word on this site,,,but am wonderin on how to chek yur coolant to see if it has what it needs to protect against this deadly word,,,,can i just put in some really good coolant or what??? i can fix jus bout anything but am new to havn an oilburner,,,,,its been good to me so far...- soupdog

NEED NEW STARTER
got mine at checker auto,,,lifetime warranty for 176.00 ,,,its a mitsubishi, they also beat any competitors prices,,,so if yu find one cheaper they will match and go lower,,,am in south dakota though but i imagine there are checker auto parts stores nation wide- soupdog

Pinhole in oil pan...would JBWeld work?
i used jb weld and it works wonders,,,,new type now that bonds in 4 minutes,,,good stuff,,- soupdog

good lord, I'm tired of working on it
had problem like that,,,was hard to start warm,,,,was gonna get new injector pump and fuel pump,,,but he musta been lookin down on me and starter went out,,,went to checkers and got lifetime warranty rebuild and yu know what,,,it stopped my hartd to start,,,,was turnin to slow,,,,might be...- soupdog

fuel guage woes
Am havn problems with my fuel guage,,,,wont register from either tank,,,its a 91 extended cab f250 7.3 non turbo 4x4 5 speed with a flatbed runnin strait pipes,,,one hella bale hauler,,,but since i got it the fuel guage has never worked,,all the others do,,have tried fuses,,,everything,,,it has...- soupdog
