    What differences are there in diesel grades? I always get diesel from Fred Meyer because I can get usually 20c discount and I always add a lubricant to the diesel of some sort, even if ATF is all I've got. I always throw something in it though to lube up that ULSD crap.

    Try turning the nozzle upside down. The foam almost always clears up when you do this. It's a bit of a pain, but I do this on my Motorhome because it is such a PITA to fill.

    Sorry, didn't realize you were specifically looking for a class A. Born Frees don't come in class A's. The newer ones will come on an F450 or F550 front though.

    I was actually not aware of that. Did they put turbo blocks in at least? Mine is a 93 and it appears to be an ATS 093 turbo in there, so I just figured it was a factory turbo. I could be way off though. I need to pull the cover and take a pic for you guys so I can know for sure anyhow.

    I too have a diesel Class C. If you want a really high quality motorhome, try to find a Born Free. By percentage, I think there are more Born Free diesels than most other brands. Mine is a 93 factory turbo-diesel serpentine setup with a custom cowl hood with a nice steel box and a panel...

    That sucks. Generally, an E4OD is a solid transmission IF you keep it cool. Don't give up on these old beasts. They're better than a Chevy van! lol!

    I definitely appreciated having the serpentine in my 93 E350 Class C when my vacuum pump took a dump a few weeks ago. The belt was not even a small issue. The 3 little bolts holding the stupid pump on were a different seized in place story though...

    I'm stumped at this point too...The only other thing I can think is perhaps one pulley is just slightly out of alignment so that every time the markings on the belt goes by, it squeaks. Good luck, brother. :)

    Maybe check all the pulleys again to see if there is any wobble in any of them. They might spin freely, but if they're not straight or if they wobble at all, that might cause the issue.

    I don't think you are having vac pump issues. The vac pump should turn with some moderate force. I assume you have a serpentine setup? Have you checked the tensioner pulley so see if it's on it's way out?

    I wonder if a WRX style intercooler would fit under the hood and then I would just reverse the cowl and make it a ram-air-style scoop.
