I can't figure out how to delete my post, so I'll just reply to myself. Just plugged the new compressor into the original horn wire and followed the included relay instructions. Worked fine.

Man. Dropped down to 285/75/R16 and she drives like a new truck. I think the slightly smaller tires look better, too. Definitely nice to be able to turn without rubbing the springs. Speedo more accurate. Just all around better. Pumped.
