brand new vegetable oil in a 6.9?
i was given aproximatelly 6 gallons of brand new sealed in container vegetable oil. i was told it was stale. stuff looks good and i cracked one open and it was indeed stale. anyway anything i need to do to run it in my f250? was planning on using it as a summer fuel cut with deisel and some rug...- psl sniper

Some opinions on a vehicle for wmo etc
So i went with a 1986 ford f250 extended cab 4x4. has 145,000. on the clock 6.9l na idi. no smoke in exhaust, and starts like a dream even at 5:00 am in 17 degree weather. has a small oil leak. one or 2 spots after driving. all in all im happy.- psl sniper

what % of wmo is safe?
Probably going to be a 1985 mercedes 300d. Seams to be what i can locate for now. May look for a 7.3 idi as well.- psl sniper

what % of wmo is safe?
im still looking at different vehicles etc, but started wondering what most peole think is a safe mix of wmo to diesel? im not talking clean looking wmo. but black filtered to .05 micron wmo. i was thinking of just playing it safe and adding maybe 1-2 gallons per tank and leave the rest diesel...- psl sniper

old turpentine oil?
yeah im not going to use it. not worth the risk for a gallon of fuel. ill save it for either tiki torches or use it as bbq lighter fluid. glad i did more reading before trying it. that would have been a headache for sure.- psl sniper

old turpentine oil?
well i feel stupid. did some more research the oil i have is in fact linseed oil aka flaxseed oil. it may have trace amounts of turpentine but is in fact linseed oil. which from what i have read is not ideal for fuel. so ill find another use for it. glad i found more info before going nuts with it.- psl sniper
