    thanks everyone, i was 99% sure only 350s got the dana 60, but the p.o. was very sure it was a f250hd,, so that's why it has a 60,,, oh well,,, 1 other thing i forgot to mention, the rear axle has a brake proportioning valve for heavy loads, and it works,, or it moves freely any way. ,,,, so...

    thanks for the info, ill look up the the vin and info, its been registered as a f250 for a long time, i did get some paperwork with the truck, so ill assume its a f350 with the body of a f250. for now,,,,,

    just bought a 1986 f250hd, 6.9 c6,208f t case, , my "old" 93f250.7.3 auto, straight axle swap, has died, brought it back a few times from rust, but now, it's too much, rust, trans, problems, electric,bla,bla,, So... my new f250hd has a dana 60, king pin front axle, looks stock, nothing looks...

    Facet blues

    well im not that smart either, i guess, i went with a facet pump to start with ( yes, cheap and cheap) . then i thought, if im going to run this truck, drive it every day, plow,tow,haul,etc.etc.. i should do it right.. i went with a holley red. no regulator needed, no nothing.. just wire in hook...

    yes, he is very smart with these trucks,parts and his work, ,, also, so is russ, typ4 is his handle here,,, 2 very smart guys with tons of knowledge on these trucks,,, i have bought parts from both... very honest and good people.

    well, not sure if this will get to the top of the list , as it has been almost a year,, but good news... i found a body guy , had him look at the truck,,, he said it was older than he thought (?) and its way easy to work on/fix..( oh yah)...sooooo,,, i bought 2 new fenders, had a radiator...

    Upgrading to electric lift pump

    ok, ill jump in. 1993 f250. idi went with a facet pump. did good for a while. i turned up the IP, installed a exh,temp guage, ... got a little more power. then i bought a turbo kit from wes. and a rebuild kit from russ, { both great guys with tons of knowledge}. . turned up the IP pump more...

    as of now, its my yard truck,,,, plow truck,, tow truck,,, sad to remove the plates and insurance,, but. its to far gone to try to fix. I am keeping it for now, got a cherokee for a d.d. now,, we will see how the truck hunting goes,,,, looking for a OBS ,,, but its hard to find a good one here,,

    i do have a write up in alternate fuel forum here, but with 2 tanks, i run filtered waste atf from work during the summer. 2 have 2 glass filters in line( 1 at the rear tank and 1 just before the holley red electric pump) by the switching valve . start on reg, diesel,, switch to atf,,, about 1/2...
