Weird leak driving me nuts...
94 idi NA - I have had a slight fuel leak at the rear tank for a year or two now. I assume the tank has a rust hole so I have only been using the front tank. Well I find it hard to believe the tank that is empty has continued to leak. I always have a wet spot on the ground at the right rear...- mooseracing

That sinking brake pedal.
Going through this now, but I had to do a complete brake system overhaul as I pushed them too far before doing routine maintenance. I bypassed the RABS, same issue. After seeing the cost of a Zero loss booster, I'm going hyrdo boost.- mooseracing

I'll try the ATF this weekend, my luck we will get a fire or medical call in the middle of the night so it won't get to sit..... Wow how time flies when you have 0 free time..... So I had a road trip coming up and I wanted to take care of a few things. Newer injection pump, low on "power"
So in park i can bring the rpm right up to the orange line no issue, about 3400. On the road in first it gets to about 3100 before it shifts. I picked up a new fuel pressure kit since I couldn't find my adapters. I didn't trust gauge for low pressure, since it went to 150psi. I didn't...- mooseracing

I'll have to check RPM on the way home. Pump was timed with the recommended here way of the little ferret box and an adjustable timing light. Don't remember the degrees (maybe 8ish), I would have to look around here as I followed the write up. I Would have to get the toys out to check and see...- mooseracing

Newer injection pump, low on "power"
For lack of a better term I use power but I don't really feel it is that. I have a '94 IDI that I put a sealed reman injection pump on (from Uhaul parts) during the winter of 2013/2014. I've put about 15,000 miles on it since than but I notice to do 45mph or more it is almost an all or nothing...- mooseracing

WTB: Ford 3G Parts Alternator
edit - never mind, found a set, someone wasn't finding them online before I went to replace the brushes and the slip rings are wore to the shaft. Anyone have a parts alternator laying around that they could send the shaft over that isn't wore to **** like the one I currently have? Let me...- mooseracing

Alternator rebuild or i'm i building a monster?
Talk to an alternator shop, they can order larger windings (mine were still 3 terminal setups). It turns into alot of experimenting though. I did it on Delcos since I had so many, but after upgrading to larger windings I had to coat the inside of the alternator to keep it from shorting out...- mooseracing

a drop-in lighting option for bullnose (80-86) trucks.
I switched out to the Hella glass lenses with (iirc) H4's, nearly 10 years ago. I run the standard low beam, but the HO Highs, (100 watts). Best upgrade ever, the throw pattern on the Hellas are awesome. I don't know if it's the glass or what, but I like the throw better than alot of newer...- mooseracing

New radiator now an over pressurized system
So after this headache I was under the gun to get a backup car going. Which needed a water pump, then needed a power steering pump, then had fun at the secretary of state. New radiator now an over pressurized system
Pretty much how I do it, then this one continued to be hard so I cracked some heater lines as AllData says crack the one coming off the pump until it has coolant coming out. I've tried others for kicks but nothing is helping. I've swapped caps with other Fords I have and it isn't helping...- mooseracing

New radiator now an over pressurized system
I'm digging for ideas here. I've had a leak at the top of my radiator for ever, today it decides to finish itself off. I'm sure I got it a little too warm. So I pick up a replacement from NAPA and R&R. I've bled the system by cracking the hoses and getting air but I've repeated the cycle...- mooseracing
