Hey all, Last night on my way home from work the steering wheel horn pad appeared to have shaken loose some of the anchor bolts for the horn pad. It is currently sitting slightly off and only appears to be held in by one or two of the bolts. See link for pic...
Background: About three weeks ago I stopped to put some fuel into my car (1981 300sd om617) when I hopped back in and drove home (around the corner). When I got back home I killed the engine and alas the battery light was lit up. I was in a hurry and had another place to be, so I popped the hood...
I know that on my car at times it lags a second before going from a stop, Warden might be able to chime in some i think he was having tranny problems with his w116,
So got to pop the hood, all the fuses looked good and also my brother was over and said he thinks it is the Glow plug relay since the GP's were recently replaced. we'll see how it goes
Update: Still have not been able to get under the hood was in a wedding and also had to work. So three for fuses and upon talking to Warden he thinks its the GP. but will definitely check the fuse panels. well off to work.
Hello all, its been a while since i have posted. But starting yesterday my car has been a bear to start after sitting for more than 8 hrs or so. Here is what happened, I was getting ready to run to work and i turn the key to preignite and no GP lights came on. So i said ok well maybe we'll try...

So we own a 99' crysler concord and the thing likes to start and run just fine, but then randomly likes to not start at all. The engine cranks but no fire, I am suspect of something electrical. My guess is that it is more specifically the ignition coil or some piece close to that. so any...
