Ouch! 2 bills to test my IP
There has got to be a cheaper way of testing a IP than spending 75,000 on used equipment I'd think... All you'd have to do is +12v to the fuel solenoid, and turn the IP over at certain RPM's then test the injector output. Couldn't you have 8 glass jars setup to a set of known good...- mbolton1990

gasoline fuel pumps....
Airtex E8153's work fine with veg, so should be fine with D2. Haven't heard much bad about em- mbolton1990

Turbo IDI Injection Pump - $250 shipped
Well, the truck body had 200k but I kind of think the IP was replaced at one point. The motor had rebuilt injector(s) and the pump was super clean to begin with! The cleanest IP I've ever seen actually, if it doesn't work and you're unhappy with it I'm putting a 14-day warranty on it.- mbolton1990

Turbo IDI Injection Pump - $250 shipped
Can get pics, came off a truck with 200k that supposedly ran good but had a bad HG. Pump looks great,spins nice doesn't bind or anything like that. Truck was clean it came off of,and appeared well maintained other than the HG. I believe the IP was replaced at some point. $250 shipped CONUS...- mbolton1990

That van looks awesome! I'd say grab it, that is a rare and cool bird. I saw one similar to that go for 4x that in California (they're sought after in CA because they're emission exempt) Don't be scared off by the IP I just pulled a ambulance IP in 2 hours working at a moderate pace..and my '86...- mbolton1990
