Power steering stiff, sometimes - 2001 Jetta TDI
Most debris in system usually comes from not flushing after replacing a damaged part, but hard to say. Easiest place to start is a simple flush and fill with correct fluid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- jaymanthree

New here..
Not new to vw's but recently branched out over here after I bought an f250 diesel. Here are my to diesel vw's. Although not tdi's I will be converting the green one to an alh tdi as soon as I can located a good donor. I run the white car on WMO, since I have an endless supply through work...- jaymanthree

Power steering stiff, sometimes - 2001 Jetta TDI
That type of fluid will not foam. It is mineral type only. Do not use normal ps fluid. Something might be restricting flow (ie debris in the line.)There should also be a pressure switch on the high pressure line. If seen crud build up around there as well. Try and flush the fluid and see...- jaymanthree
