Chill guys I was just razing the phurd owners. It's amazine how some people can take a little razing and blow it completely out of proportion.
Since someone asked.......My truck did 700.1hp and a little over 1350 lb/ft of TQ last year with a best time of 12.03 @ 114.5mph.
Russ,
I've been around for quite awhile, I just haven't posted in a long time. I saw those pathetic smoke pics and had to show them how a real truck does it.
Nathan
Uh huh :D
I'm going if that is what your asking. Gonna tear it up on the strip and dyno. The two things I went for last year and didn't get to do either.
I know of two people that have run the HT3B/23 with the stock 35/12 in twin setups. Both reported fast spoolup and considerably lower egt's cruising down the road as compared to a larger twin setup. I'm also going to put a set together to drive around while I deciede what to use for my next twin...
Yes J.R., Bosch was the first to use 8 hole injectors but I dont believe they have used them in the 24v's. Regardless I think it is quite ironic that DD is using the same number of holes Don uses after building literally thousands of EH injectors with 7 holes. BTW Bosch made those 7 holers as well.
Re: Jammers...
I wonder where they got the idea for 8 hole injectors :Whatever:. I guess that is just another instance of this cutthroat industry. Take someone elses idea and copy it. Hell it already works right.
In addition to a set of sticks from DonM. I think you ought to look into a 35/40 hybrid with a 14cm2 wastegated housing or a non-wastegated 16cm2 housing (way slower on spoolup at your elevation though).
