rear drum brake removal ford 1990 f250?
Thats good ;Sweet mine was so stuck that i could'nt get it loose with a 4.4 pound hammer, so i purchased a airhammer. had too work the drum for aproximately 30 min then the drum let go.. Purchasing a inexpensive airhammer was one of the best investments i've ever made! :D i find many uses for...- huse

New ECM didn't work -cuss.. So i have investigated further and found burned wires on the solenoid pack connector on the transmission. Just ordered the connector pigtail. Hope this works.!! :kick:- huse

I have checked the wiring from the tcm to the tachometer gauge and it checked out ok. I decided to order a new TCM, hope this will fix my truck. Now i just need to wait for fed-ex to deliver it to me in Norway..- huse

Just to sum up this thread. It ended up beeing a bad relay, Put in a new motorcraft unit (relay and controller) works like a champ now! ;Sweet- huse

If the truck didn't have a e4od transmission, the tach wouldn't affect the transmission. According to wiring diagrams the two wires from the tach sensor goes in to the Transmission control module (TCM). From the Tcm there is a single wire going to the tachometer - tach signal wire. atleast...- huse

I've checked the fuses. that was the first thing i did. I didn't put it on the have done list because i thought that was pretty obvious ;) but then again i have done the worst case senario before and it turned out to be a fuse :rotflmao but not on my truck- huse

I found it, it checked out ok .. Funny thing is that i was looking everywhere for the relay exept next to the tcm test output in the relay box :rotflmao- huse

Trans Prob, 150 miles from home, Help (Bakersfield, CA)
I've got the same problem in my truck.. I have checked just about everything. Don't really know what more to check. My tach is not working, It moves a tiny bit if i slam the throttle. Ocationally it bounces up and down. My "rear antilock" light stays on. And on my transmission only 2 gear...- huse

pot-ato pota-to.. Thats the same as rpm the sensor just a different name. that was the first thing i checked, it checked out fine but i replaced it with a new one anyway. And tested that too.- huse

Hi, i have a problem with my gp circuit. :dunno I have tested the relay and it seems too work like it should. I have new zd9 plugs, two new deka 665 mf batteries and new battery cables from custombatterycables.com I also replaced the starter motor the previous winter. Come to think...- huse
