Hey, you’re asking about the inlet fitting right? it’s 5/16 ORB with 1/2-20 thread and then the other side of the fitting you choose whatever you want.- hacked89

Im still on IP or lifter - if I recall you didn’t do any bottom end / rings on this engine right? And you didn’t change anything else at the same time on the fuel system from when it was working before? I have / had 4 R&D IPs and multiple sets of injectors zero issue though but the symptoms...- hacked89

Also I know you’re beat and probably don’t want to touch it anymore but since you don’t have working tools to diagnose ATM I’d pull the valve covers and start it and make sure all your lifters are functioning correctly- hacked89

If it wasn’t a brand new IP and you cranked it advance to test it, I would be saying IP and injectors after comp test- hacked89

Is the advance solenoid disconnected? If it’s disconnected and you advance the pump does the white smoke reduce?- hacked89

White is unburned diesel and black is too much fuel not enough oxygen. I’d compression test it. Also i have Deja vu of talking about this same thing with mouse.- hacked89

Power Steering Pump
I have a post somewhere on the forum on this, I did decently extensive testing on the hydro boost setups for these trucks swapping different steering gears, pumps, etc. The best performing pump which i now run on each of my trucks is the Edelman 6014R designed for the 99-03 F350.
