bad fuel pump??
So I have an early 99 p-stroke, and I blew my max fuel pump fuse. (#20 under the hood) How do you know if your fuel pump is bad? I replaced it and after about 10mins of run time, it blew again. I bought a new $160:rolleyes: fuel pump and would like to know for sure if its a bad fuel pump. Any...- f250dually

early 99 injection pump
Looks like its the lift pump. I keep blowing the 20 amp max fuse for the lift pump. What else could cause the fuse to pop, other then a short in the lift pump wireing??- f250dually

early 99 injection pump
So.......I think it was a lift pump fuse. I checked all of them and the one that ran the lift pump was bad,replaced it and it now pumps. Now I think I have air in my lines. Can i just prime it by turning on (but not starting it) four times??- f250dually

early 99 injection pump
Just wondering who knows of a good pump at a reasonable price? I'm sure if I need an IP or injectors or what. The truck was running great then lost power and died as fast as I could pull over to a safe place. It all happened fast, forgot my cell phone so I had to walk about 3 miles in 10...- f250dually

I have had the truck for about 1 month, so Idon't know why they failed. The inlet fan has rubbed on the housing, so it may be shot. What is the "hot wheel"? I have not removed it yet as it is my daily work truck. The fan rubbing noise is not very consistent, but it does rub from time to time.- f250dually
