fuel pressure test fitting?
There are a couple of ports on the fuel filter housing,one prefilter and one postfilter. I was gonna hook up there but they are'nt npt. They are a kind of straight thread with an oring. My tester has npt fittings, if there is another place to tap in please let me know. Thanks- ddec4me

:dunno I have have been needing to do a fuel pressure test on a friends powerstroke. I found the ports to tap into the fuel filter housing. Hit a bump... Heard a bang.. With pics
I juts bought one for the front from my local wrecking yard for $25. They even let me go out in the yard and pick the one I wanted. It still had the paint on it and once I cleaned it It looked like it was new. Just a thought.- ddec4me

:confused:If the broken piece is pretty close to the surface an effective way I extract them when I brake off an easy out is to weld a nut to the broken stud. Just place the nut over the hole and plug weld from the end of the bolt out. You can do this without damage to the engine or threads...- ddec4me

Body Lift???
You just have to take the bolt out either on the top or bottom of the ujoint in the steering shaft under tha dash, then you install the extension that was included in the kit then tighten the bolts. It only extends the steering about an inch and half or so but it is really straight forward. If...- ddec4me

:thumbsup: Ok I was able to Get the lift installed on Sunday. It went really well. Stupid Me though I forgot about the firewall and the DS head. I ended up taking my Air Chisel and making a couple of cuts in the firewall then pushing it out of the way with a hammer bit-cuss. 2 Tiny short welds...- ddec4me

Yeah but was this a Non Waste gated turbo off of a DT466 Or Was it The Newer WasteGated Version off Of a DT466E Which is much larger. I will Try to get my hands on one of Each and Take Measurements all over to see what exactly the differences are between the 3.- ddec4me

I just did a body lift on my truck this weekend. I bought a 3" from Summit Racing Equip. It cost me $81 after shipping. I think factoring in ones time that is cheaper than building the lift. That is what I am aiming for. The kit I purchased actually came with brackets to lower the fan shroud to keep the fan centered.I will definately go bend some flanges today while I am sprayin penetrant. I figure by the time I finish and then do the solid axle swap D60 I should have close to 6"...- ddec4me

Ah Yes penetrating oil.;Sweet Fortunately I have alot of it.
