well thanks guys i finally had time to tear mine apart the manual that dan emailed was great i had no problems with the tear down now its time to go buy a new 3rd-4th gear shift fork as mine broke the only other issue i had was popping out of reverse im going to have the syncros and everything...
So I broke the 3rd 4th gear shift fork I pulled the trans out and I'm about to pull it apart my question is should I turn it up on the bell housing and pull it apart? Or set it on the tail housing and pull it apart? I've been told both ways and just don't want to make a big mistake
ok so im at the point of doing all this work to my front axle finally, kyle so with those bushings they eliminate just the needle bearing or do the eliminate the bearing and seal all together and did you grease them before sliding the axle stub into them?

I do exactly what flareside said he knows because I make his fuel too lol I use a 55 gallon steel drum with legs welded to it and Its painted black I let the sun heat it and it seperates water pretty nicely also I have a drain on the bottom but I never put my hose on the bottom to pull fuel out
