Just trying to get it out there. I looked all over for one of these at a better price when I purchased. I would have loved the opportunity to snatch one up at this price. As it turns out due to a change in plans I no longer have a need for it, and thought it could benefit someone else
I have a quick 4 trans controller for e4od trans for sale if anyone is interested. Like brand new. Use less than a month. I’m selling for $450 with all wiring connectors, still have box and manuals everything complete. Paid over $700 for it. My loss is your gain

Ok. So rebuilt my 7.3 idi about 3000 miles on it now. Rod and main bearings obviously new. Crank polished mic’d and double checked all bearing clearance’s with plasti gauge. The truck factory oil pressure gauge stays between r and m. My understanding is that gauge will drop only if pressure...
Exactly what I needed. Thanks everyone for all the help. I’m going to start sourcing parts and prices. This is a tax return project. So it will be a bit yet. But will keep all posted, and try to post pics and info on the install when I get there. Thanks again all.
Was just using that TC as an example. I was really just trying to verify as long as it’s a 4 bolt and fits 4R100 for 7.3 it should work? I will likely go with a better new TC not reman. Also can someone please clarify will the C6 adapter plate work with the 4R. I keep getting mixed answers on here
Definitely going with the Baumann quick 4. It’s only a little more than the quick 2. I was more concerned with the mechanics, but from what all are saying on here it seems the 4r100 will bolt right up if I get it from a 7.3 PSD and I will just need a torque converter. Seems like something like...
Saburai thanks for the reply. So if I go with the 4R the electronics issues that plagued the early e4od should not be an issue. Also I can get a 4R with relatively low miles, and if I understand you correctly I can use the same adapter plate that is currently on my C6. And just buy a torque...
david85. I’m just seeing your reply to my thread. I’ve been really busy and haven’t been on here, but are you saying the 4r100 will bolt up to the 7.3 idi. By just changing the adapter plate and torque converter? I have heard only the e4od would bolt up and only if the e4od came off another 7.3...
Ok, so just playing around with an idea in my head. I have an 88 F350 7.3 idi with c6. Truck is completely rebuilt and I love my truck. However I need more HP and another forward gear. I have access to a 7.3 power stroke and trans out of a wrecked 03 F250 with only about 120000 miles on it...
The volt guage is a side effect, because that go gp controller draws so much amperage when its heating. As all heaters do. You have a bad glow or 2. Hook a test light to positive battery terminal and touch the top of glow plugs with light. If it doesn't light up its bad.
