Manual Glow Plug Switch Issues
Just a note I figured out my problem. My sylinoid got stuck open and burned out all my glow plugs. I did the ohms test on em and nothing came up And I had the 11.5 bolts at the harness right when I turned the key on without pushing my button. So 140$ later I have a new solinoid and 8 new...- Cheesy

I’m also having a very similar problem. I recently switched to the manual push button controller. And my glow plugs are completely dead. My controller clicks on and off by the button but it doesn’t hear my plugs at all. Brand new harness and glow plugs. I tested to see if I was getting power...- Cheesy

Also. What are some common items y’all keep on hand in the truck for a break down I keep some belts and a fuel filter and some fluids. What else should be added to the list of stuff for a potential break down?- Cheesy

Just so you can see the set up. I originally baught that flex line with the fittings to run all 8. But the threads were wrong so that didn’t work. Cut the end off the injector line that was still good and ran the hose from there to the jug as mentioned previously. There’s just the visual...- Cheesy

Update here. I had the same idea. Swapped around to the good end an through some fuel line on into the cab. I’ll make it home in time. She’s lookin pretty hard. But running strong not letting me down. Picked up a hitch hiker in the Wally World Parkin lot. He’s holdin the jugs lol- Cheesy

Well the guy at O’Reillys is pretty darn helpful. He’s making me a hose. Doesn’t have the right flares on it so might leak. But I’m gunna cinch it down best I can and run it.- Cheesy

Home is four hours away and if it can be helped need to be there tonight. Can run to the junkyard tomorrow for a new fuel line Just curious if I plugged that would it redirect the pressure. Sounds like it will- Cheesy

Hey. I can explain this later. But right now I need to know this. Can I plug one of my injector lines so that no fuel can go through it. And just run on 7 cylinders? Edit…. Will this hurt my injection pump if the fuel has no wear to go. Or will pressure build up. Will the truck even run...- Cheesy

So what did you do with your truck today?
Hauled a load from our house and shop we just sold. six hours to my papas place for storage It wasnt a bonified Mississippi load but it was pretty close to it haha. Had her packed down pretty good. No clue what she would have weighed. But it got the truck running pretty warm. All the way...- Cheesy
