    I don't recall the exact number, but it was within the preload spec called for in the ZF manual. The stock shims wound up being the right thickness so I reused them.

    Oil being used is Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. Did the same thing on Valvoline ATF. I will double check for firewall flex and report back. I do recall feeling some limited movement in the brake pedal when the clutch pedal is pressed, so I guess that could be something.
