Speak of the devil. I found this on You Tube. Sounds like this guys truck was doing the same thing as mine. He goes through the selector valve and also does the external temp gas jug. I might try that.
You hit on two of my next target areas: The tank selector and the IP going bad, I know that happens. I have the receipt and it say its was "sent out for rebuild." Nothing else specific.
I going to check that selector valve over the weekend. I'm going to see if I can bypass the selector...
Thanks for the reply. The answers to the ones I know are bolded and highlighted. I'll have to get back to you on the RPM'S. I'll try and take a video. A couple more points:
1. The truck is warmed up to normal operating temp.
2. I do not know the fuel pressure, but thought about...
1994 IDIT, 152,000 miles. Auto. Engine all stock. Truck starts and runs perfect, idles great and drives perfect until I floor it. When it reaches a higher RPM it sputters and makes a sound like an exhaust leak snd sputters, hesitates and has reduced power. I have to let up on the accelerator...

Oh ok. Thanks. It’s probably the schrader. I’ve haven’t had to refill the refrigerant, etc. Is that system under pressure if I have to remove the valve? Anything to be careful of?

I’ve got a refrigerant leak around this valve, more like seepage, that runs down the side of this canister. Anybody else seen this? Is it a matter of just replacing the valve? What is that canister for anyway?
Thanks

Haven’t got on it cold. I will try though. Don’t know what fuel pressure is. Sounds like I need to find out. I’ve had the truck about 3 years, 20k and I haven’t changed the fuel filter. I’ll check for receipts from previous owner. I’ll check receipts for injection pump and injectors also. Thanks...
