Filter part numbers?
Does anybody have part numbers for Air, Oil and Fuel Filters for a 86 6.9? Been Searching the Forum and had no luck.- biggun

Where does the GP system get power from?
thats what it sounds like to me buddy, personally if i was in your shoes i would rig up a manual switch for the glow plugs and be done with it all together. that way you know when they are getting power and when they are not.- biggun

how do you know they dont work? you hitting them with a test light? in my 86 there is a purple wire that is the power wire in the GP Relay on the Pass Fender. I did the bypass like lots of folks do. I would hit them with a test light and see whats up.- biggun

Lockers for 93 F-350?
If you have a posi that complicates things. I would look for an open carrier and weld it. It will wear your rear tires faster than a limited slip or posi. 3 wheel drive is awesome.- biggun

Cheap, and works great. Make sure clean with brakeleen and get somebody that has done it before to help you.- biggun

I don't know how proficient you are with a welder, but I would definitely weld the rear and leave the front open. Not bad in the snow at all.- biggun

Thank you icanfixall, I used the electric to basically prime the system and then shut the motor off, hooked up the main fuel line and fired up again :)- biggun

2wd Tire Question
I agree with 79jasper. This last march I drove the Alcan Highway in a 2wd ram towing a 4500 lb trailer with AT3s. No issues at all even in snow. Sometimes I needed a little wheelspin to get moving but worked fine.- biggun

bad fuel?
Well today it fired right up. Tightened the starter, threw a new battery in and put a electric fuel pump and ran a few gallons of fresh diesel and cranked right up. Drove it around the block. It didn't burn up or anything, the negative terminal cable snapped when it got stepped on lol. It will be an easy fix- biggun

So update, cracked the injectors again, bled the air out of the system. Fuel pump is working but only shooting spurts of fuel every 3 seconds or so. Hooked a electric fuel pump up, but I don't think it was getting enough juice. Broke the 120v car starter box from napa. Going to buy new batteries...- biggun
