I recently had a crank turned in a 4bt and I'm in the process of putting it back together and was trying to figure out how to time the injector pump with the cam gear?
not sure on how long it stays on. but it will go off and the voltmeter will flicker and you can hear the glow plug relay clicking. after it stops clicking it will crank.
wheel bearing maybe. not sure on that 1/2 ton running gear but on 3/4 straight axle they have needle bearings on the axle shaft that go bad and they catch the axle shaft when driving.
My 94 turbo is smoking at startup pretty bad. when it warms up it pretty much goes away. someone said the timing ring was prolly worn. Is there anyway to replace that or would i be in need of a new pump?
