    Well here she is...It drives real nice, gets pretty respectabel gas mileage for a full size truck and a bit more than my 7.3...I think my main problem was I couldn't keep my foot out of it to watch the smoke roll out the top haha

    Well I did however trade it for another local truck...84 chevy 3/4 ton with a 97 Z28 camaro 350 in it...true dual flowmaster exhaust...got to keep my wheels and tires though...I'll post a pic if anyone would like to see it? I'll take good or bad comments ha ha...It's all american made to me!

    As much as I hate to say it, I got rid of my old 88 idi...kinda killed me but it was fallin apart and I couldn't keep up with repairs...Thanks to everyone for all their help on here!

    I recently purchased a 84 chevy 3/4 ton...And the guy(certified mechanic) dropped in a 97 camaro motor in it...It's a v8, i believe a 350 but I'm not sure...does anyone know which model it would be? Z28, RS,SS anything? and also I'd like to have the computer "flashed" and brought back to stock...

    Alright thats alot to consider from EVERYONE. I pressed my joints with a bench mounted vice. Thanks to everyone for your help. I'm sure I'll be on here asking more stuff(even though I wished I wasn't haha) being that this is my first IDI pickup and I am trying to learn as much as possible...

    The new ones came pre greased...I shot a little more in there and that was a synthetic hi-temp grease. I bought them from shucks and I believe they are "precision" joints. I'm not sure if it is one or both. Another thing I forgot to mention is that I think my tranny mount might be loose...

    For the life of me I can't keep a u-joint in my truck for more than a month. I hear like a sharp popping noise when I let the clutch out and that lasts for about a week then it gets really bad. Any ideas what might be causing it to lose them? Or if someone thinks it may be something else...I...
