all right im converting my 97 f250 to a five speed from an auto and I took flexplate off and tried to put the flywheel on but when I hold it up to crank it sticks out way to far so im wondering if autos have what looks like a extension on the back of crankshaft because of flexplate is so small...

At the end of this month we have a test and tune pull just pay $5 and enter whatever you want, i'm going to take my 6.2 and my 6.9 and compare the two. Both have good tires and 4x4 only disadvantage is the 6.2 is a half ton but i'm not afraid to break anything:D
So I have been looking the last few days for a seat that I want for my 97, my dads 95 has a red 40/20/40 seat and I like it a lot better than my buckets so i've been searching for a gray one but no luck.:dunno I would have never thought they would be this hard to find, has anyone ever tried...
