Deal of the week..
A 1985 6.9 106,000 miles when pulled last year(been sitting on a stand)
and a zf 5spd 4x4 from an 89 f-350. Has the pto on the side but the shaft is cut. Doesnt effect the tranny. I have the slave cylinder, flywheel and bolts etc for the tranny. the motor is complete from...
I have a 89 D-60 4x4 front axle from a dually truck.. Axle was already cut out and is on the ground.. Nothing else with it(springs etc) does have the
dually spacers still on it.

I have an 84 6.9 Diesel, its complete including the complete wiring harness from the truck under the hood.

Did have a pto on it and pto shft is cut but still connected to trans. I have trans, flywheel and Slave cylinder etc..

I'm building what you want right now, I have a 78 Crewcab 4x4 and i'm using a mid 80's Diesel crossmember that needs to be trimmed but will fit in the frame of a 73-79 truck.
Once mounted to the 6.9 and lowered in place i can either bolt it in or weld it up.
A 6.9 with a turbo and zf-5spd is...
Check to make sure the wires going to the CPS arent exposed and shorting out against the motor.. Just had the same thing happen on a 99 7.3 and had an exposed wire shorting to the motor..
Mel
does have one for me, but hasn't given me a time frame of when he might get to it. HIs first email in July said he had it with a price and could get it for me.
So i thought i would see if anyone else has one out there for my swap.
Unless mel has it soon??
Anybody in the PA, NJ, DE area have a diesel front crossmember for sale or parting out a truck?
This is the crossmember the motor is bolted to.
Let me know what you have
and a price
Group
i can pick up a PSD from a 96 Van, for my 78 4x4 Crewcab Swap,
and was wondering if the Van Psd was different then the truck??
Can it be used? I also want to use a Zf-5spd behind it.. I'll assume the crank will accept a pilot bearing?
Also anyone know any articles for a PSD swap..
